Dwaiter is a small business consisting of 3 - 5 employees. With such a small team it was important to capture everyone’s ideas, thoughts, and opinions to create a site that fully represented the company.
I conducted meetings and emails to gather the visions, desires, and needs to ensure the site could better provide access and usability to the entire team while being informative and engaging enough to capture new leads.
Benchmarking is always fun. During this stage, I researched several agencies, Awwwards, Behance, and Pinterest website designs to see what was trending and/or what grabbed our attention.
Although we kept the general aesthetics similar to the original, I added more pop and flair with subtle animations, a custom hero slider, and other interactions to the overall presentation and layout of the site — creating a more engaging experience for users.
After design reviews and full team approval of the final comps, my next step was developing the site. Using auto layouts and quick asset exports in Figma allowed me to easily kickstart the development process. Development consisted of dynamic collection items, case studies, animations, and more in addition to collaborating with the senior developer for custom-coded sections.
